Cozy Paint Studio

Privacy

How the desktop app, this website, and the services you choose to visit handle data.

1. Scope

This notice covers the Cozy Paint Studio desktop application and this website at cozy-paint-studio.johannesvollmer.com. For privacy questions, contact cozy-paint-studio@johannesvollmer.com.

2. Desktop application

Cozy Paint Studio does not require an account and does not send drawings, brush content, usage analytics, or telemetry to us. Drawings and application data are stored locally on your device. They leave your device only when you deliberately use an operating-system sharing or export action. Links open your system browser; the app itself does not connect to Discord.

This description applies to the current public preview. Storage locations and deletion steps are still being verified against the packaged preview build. Microsoft may independently process Store acquisition, installation, updates, licensing, and reliability data under its terms.

3. This website

The website uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, third-party fonts, contact forms, cookies, or embedded social media. It is served as a static website through GitHub Pages.

When you visit, GitHub processes technical request data needed to deliver and secure the service. This may include IP address, time, requested path, referrer, browser identifier, and response status. GitHub documents IP-address logging for security purposes in particular. The purpose is secure website delivery; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, available website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub is the hosting recipient. GitHub’s terms govern retention and international transfers.

4. External destinations

Microsoft Store and Discord are separate services with their own privacy terms. A plain link transfers data to them only when you follow it. This website uses no embeds or preconnections to those services. Free preview on Microsoft Store

5. Your rights

Where the legal conditions apply, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Use the email address above to make a request.
